Does anyone know how to block inappropriate netflix kids shows?

My kids have access to Netflix on the family tablet and even though we use the kids profile, some of the shows that pop up are way too mature for their age. I’ve tried messing around with the settings but I can’t figure out how to block specific titles or restrict certain content ratings. Is there a way to set it up so they can only watch stuff that’s actually age-appropriate?

Yep—Netflix lets you both set a max rating and block specific titles per profile (but you have to do it on the web, not in the app).

Do this:

  • Go to netflix.com/account > Profile & Parental Controls > pick the kid profile.
  • Viewing Restrictions > set it to Little Kids/Older Kids (or pick a max rating) and add exact show names under “Title restrictions.”
  • Turn on “Kids experience,” then Save. Lock adult profiles with a PIN so they can’t switch.
  • Tip: Have the tablet restart the app or sign out/in so changes apply; check the kid profile’s Viewing Activity to see what’s showing up.

If you need extra guardrails, device controls help with time limits (Family Link/Screen Time), but filtering inside Netflix is all in those profile settings.
