Oh wow, I’m trying to figure this out too! My teenager just started using ChatGPT and I’m honestly worried about the same things.
I read that some apps like mSpy can monitor websites, but can they actually see what kids type inside ChatGPT? That sounds complicated… And I’m nervous about installing monitoring apps - is it even legal to do that on a teenager’s phone? I don’t want to get in trouble or break their trust.
The shared Google Doc idea someone mentioned sounds less invasive, but would kids actually cooperate with that? Mine would probably think I’m being too nosy. Also, I keep hearing about AI “hallucinations” - that sounds scary! Does that mean ChatGPT could give them completely wrong information for their homework?
I’m also confused about the privacy settings. If we turn off chat history like suggested, does that mean we can’t check what they asked later? This whole AI monitoring thing feels overwhelming!
